Future generation holds the key to securing sustainable democracy in a region in which democracy is often threatened. Education that can amplify their role in this society through inclusion of diverse perspectives and fostering the next generation of democratic leaders is what we believe in. Asia-Pacific Democracy Incubator is an international, non-partisan conference that aims to build a welcoming community for the next generation to be critical, diverse, and innovative leaders of democracy.
We aim to achieve this by:
- Strengthening Democratic Alliance: Build and sustain a network of legislative and policy-making professionals dedicated to fostering regional cooperation to ensure mutual understanding, leveraging the unique experiences and share innovative legislative solutions from diverse perspectives.
- Cultivating Young Leaders: Engage and empower young leaders by providing a platform for educational opportunity. Providing them with foundations of democratic governance through the sharing of best practices in transparency, accountability, and citizen engagement, with a focus on involving young and emerging leaders.
- Continuous Learning and Development: Provide an ongoing leadership development fellowship that can foster next generations with networks and mentorships to become long-term contributors of democracy. Engage young leaders to be committed to their civic duties of democratic citizens in search of stability in the Asia-Pacific region.
